Calvin Cecil Smith, 66, of Cosby, and formerly of Lakeland and Bradenton, Florida, passed away April 18, 2017. He was an avid NASCAR fan and followed the Buccaneers Football program emphatically. Calvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie and Leo Smith; brothers, Billy Smith and Joel Smith.
Calvin is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Smith; daughter, Jennifer Nabors and husband, Bill Nabors; son, Christopher Smith; grandchildren, Michael and Zack Nabors, Christopher Smith, Jr., Kevin Smith, and Krystal Smith; great-grandchildren, Lula Ann Nabors and Kevin Smith, Jr.; siblings, Carolyn Shumate, Clara Coyle, Wanda Caudill, Darlene Bushner, and Jimmy Smith and wife, Leslie Smith; numerous generations of nieces and nephews; and his furry companion, Cassie.
