Ronald Berreth, 74, of Sevierville passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017. He volunteered at the Tennessee Museum of Aviation in Sevierville. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with Volunteer Thunder of the East Tennessee Knoxville Chapter HOG. Ron built and flew RC Model airplanes, and was a talented artist with calligraphy and engraving. Ron served honorably in the U.S. Navy, had been on the USS Glacier in the South Pole and had received the Good Conduct Award and the Antarctic Service Medal. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Emma Berreth; and his brother-in-law, Bob Jones.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Wendy Berreth; daughters, Rhonda Hunter of Seattle, WA and Brenda Berreth of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughter, Dannielle Siniquefield of Seattle, WA; great-grandson, Eli Siniquefield of Seattle, WA; sisters, Karen Jones of Johnson City, TN and Sheila Fowlds of NC; brother, Ken Berreth and wife, Toni of FL; nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Robin Stow and husband, Gerald of Mt. Home, AR; and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, July 19th at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy 168, Knoxville, TN. Military honors will be provided. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com
