The goal of Atchley Funeral Home is to fulfill the needs and wants of the families we serve. The following is a general description of the services most often requested of Atchley Funeral Home. COMPLETE TRADITIONAL SERVICE:

  • Basic professional services of funeral director and staff

  • Other preperation of remains (dressing, casketing, cosmetology)
  • Use of facilities for visitation/viewing (at funeral home or other facility)
  • Use of facilities for funeral ceremony (at funeral home or other facility)
  • Transfer of remains to funeral home (within a 50 mile radius)
  • Hearse
  • Equipment/flower vehicle
  • Visitor register and memorial folders
VISITATION WITH GRAVESIDE SERVICE:
Includes:
  • Basic professional services of funeral directoe and staff
  • Embalming
  • Other preperation of remains (dressing. casketing, cosmetology)
  • Use of facilities for visitation/viewing (at funeral home or other facility)
  • Graveside service
  • Transfer of remains to funeral home (within 50 miles)
  • Hearse
  • Equipment/flower vehicle
  • Visitor register and memorial folders
NO VISITATION WITH GRAVESIDE SERVICE:

CREMATION SERVICES:

Families who choose cremation instead of burial can still fulfill the need for closure by having a funeral ceremony and/or visitation. While direct cremation is an option, most of the services listed above can be included either before or after the actual act of cremation.
FUNERAL MERCHANDISE:

Atchley Funeral Home offers a wide variety of caskets, burial vaults, and cremation urns. We are glad to assist our families in making these selections according to their specific preferences and budget, or any potential requirements. CREATING A MEANINGFUL SERVICE:

Because there are many different customs and traditions among the people of our community, we assist our families in personalizing their funeral to create a meaningful service. This can be achieved through their choice of ministers, eulogists, musicians and the musical selections. Also, the displaying of personal items such as photographs, scrapbooks, awards, medals---anything that celebrates the life of the deceased, adds a heartwarming element to the funeral. We have various ways to exhibit these types of items.
